How do I make a numbered grid from my photo?

Choose 4–24 colors and a cell size of 15–60 px. Keep numbers and outlines on, then apply.

Can I make a complete paint-by-numbers kit?
This makes a numbered square-grid practice reference with lightly tinted cells. It does not trace irregular paint regions or include a separate color legend, paint-brand mapping, or supplies.
How do I know which paint color to use?
Matching numbers mark the same color group. Use the light cell tints and original photo to choose paints; there is no separate color legend.
How do I make my grid easier to paint?
Use fewer colors and larger cells. Start with one recognizable subject and check the preview before downloading.
Can I print my numbered grid?
The download is one PNG, up to 960 pixels on its longest edge, not a PDF or vector pattern. Choose a small print size and check that the numbers are readable.
