This page reconstructs the upload as color blocks and draws lines around those new blocks. It is useful for making a study from a large raster image, but it does not discover the original drawing grid hidden inside an enlarged pixel-art file. Alignment depends on the source and chosen block size.
If each original cell and color must remain exact, avoid treating this conversion as a neutral overlay. Resampling and palette reduction can change both. Use the related photo-grid tool for a configurable guide over the image, or an editor with exact grid spacing when your artwork has a known cell structure.
The download is a flat PNG. Photos are processed at up to 2200 pixels on the longest edge, then rounded down to complete blocks. Pixel size controls each block, not a target canvas such as 32×32. Keep your original for later edits.
