The coarse starting setting intentionally discards substantial detail. Lower Pixel size, use more colors, or crop closer to the subject before trying again.
Very large blocks make the conversion visible immediately. They can work for bold silhouettes, bright still-life photographs, or abstract source images. Faces and fine structures need more care. If identity depends on a tiny feature, a closer crop or a less extreme block size usually produces a stronger image.
A stylized photograph can still reveal a person, place, document, or other sensitive content through shape and context. This art effect does not provide a verified redaction workflow. Remove sensitive areas entirely in an appropriate editor before sharing rather than assuming large blocks make private information safe.
The download is a flat PNG. Photos are processed at up to 2200 pixels on the longest edge, then rounded down to complete blocks. Pixel size controls each block, not a target canvas such as 32×32. Keep your original for later edits.
