A starting layout for printable exercises
Ten columns divide the nominal 210 mm A4 width into 21 mm intervals. Fourteen rows divide its 297 mm height into roughly 21.21 mm intervals, so the cells are nearly square rather than exactly square.
That can be a useful base for drawing practice or handwritten work. Use the dimensions shown in the workbench if your exercise depends on the difference between horizontal and vertical spacing.
