Choose paper before fine-tuning the counts, because changing its ratio changes cell proportions. Square cells require the canvas ratio and column-to-row ratio to match, not simply equal counts on every paper shape.
The downloaded file is a 2400-pixel-wide PNG. It does not control a printer’s margins or scaling. For a measured exercise, print at your intended size and verify the horizontal and vertical intervals with a ruler.
