No. PNG exports use a white canvas or include the selected photograph. Transparent guide-only exports are not available.
In Custom mode, the row and column counts divide the full canvas at regular intervals. This is useful when a hand-drawn guide would be uneven or difficult to repeat.
A ten-by-ten square grid has one hundred cells. Increasing the count produces more intersections but reduces the space available to see the source or make handwritten marks after printing.
A wide, faint line can obscure more of an image than a narrow, opaque line. Compare both controls instead of using opacity as the only adjustment when a guide feels too strong.
The custom guide uses continuous lines. Do not expect a separate dashed-line editor or movable individual boundaries. Other grid types draw different composition patterns, so return to Custom for predictable rows and columns.
