Once exported, grid lines and the photograph are ordinary pixels in one file. Uploading that PNG again does not recover the original editable line settings or remove the previous grid.
Keep an unmodified source and note any settings you want to reproduce. The editor has no project-file export, individual-line dragging, or automatic recovery of a grid from an existing picture.
